Six of these stat blocks are comprehensive enough to serve as either NPCs or player-ready pre-gens, complete with backstories that tie them together as a cohesive group. The Nord background gives any Viking-type character a mechanical home, with rules for shield walls, the seax dagger, and regional equipment. Eight new magic items designed specifically for the Mythic North milieu are distributed among the named characters, ready to be looted, gifted, or inherited.
